Hesitantly, Eleanor carefully slipped the pills into her mouth and bit down on them. A bitter taste flooded her mouth and she scrunched up her nose but swallowed the pills with effort. “Eleanor…” she mumbled, looking up at Bolest. “My father lives in the city.”
Bolest sat herself down on the ground and crossed her legs, resting her elbows on her knees and putting the tips of her fingers together. “And how important is he to you?” She consoled, she was very very close to getting exactly what she needed… “Also where exactly does he live? - just so i know where exactly to drop you off.”
Eleanor swallowed thinly, her throat dried out from the pills. What had been in those things? She opened her mouth, just about to tell Bolest where her father lived, but she clamped it shut almost instantly after a moment of thought. Was she really going to tell a complete stranger where her father lived? Let alone a stranger who had attempted to murder her? Gingerly, she wiped a tear with her sleeve that had suddenly welled up in her eyes and slid down her face. “It… It doesn’t matter. He’s far from here and I live alone.”
"You can tell me the truth… i’m not going to hurt you." She consoled. "I would much rather leave you in the care of someone than leave you by yourself." So, so close now…
“I’m fine by myself!” Eleanor snapped back, wincing suddenly as she felt immense pain in her crushed ribs. The young girl was still immensely frightened by Bolest, so she felt absolutely complied not to tell her anything about herself. She’d already received threatening text messages the day before, and she didn’t trust many people now.
